Expert Talk on Advanced Surveying in Civil Engineering

With the heavenly blessings of Sant Baba Dlawar Singh Ji (Brahm Ji) and endorsement of worthy Chancellor Sant Baba Manmohan Singh Ji, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Dharmjit Singh Parmar, Vice Chancellor, Dr Aneet Kumar, Registrar and Dr Vijay Dhir, Dean Academics& all Civil Engineering Department under Aegis of IQAC organized a virtual expert lecture on "Advanced Surveying in Civil Engineering” which was scheduled on 02/02/2024 at 10:30 PM to 11:30 PM. Dr. Sandeep Kumar Chandel, A.P & Head Department of Civil Engineering. College of Engineering and Information Technology, Nawanshahr, Punjab was the resource person of this successful event.
The main agenda behind the event is to educate the students about the Advanced Surveying and also provide the technical skills and knowledge among our students which gives more exposure towards technical knowledge which is very much required in building their career. The event mainly focused on developing interest among students toward new innovative Techniques used in construction nowadays and rapidly growing Technology used in Civil Engineering construction work.
The faculties also encouraged the students, which brought more zeal and enthusiasm among the students to work harder towards the success. About 26 students were registered and participated for this online event on Advanced Surveying in Civil Engineering.
Overall, the event turned out to be a very successful event. Since many students participated and were satisfied with the efforts of the resource person and the faculty members. This also gave them the confidence to work out and think about the advanced surveying techniques in the field of Civil Engineering. The glimpses of the event are attached below.

Visit to Khanaura village

NCC UNIT of Sant Baba Bhag Singh University Jalandhar organized an Extension Activity in Khanaura village.
